Seth Hollander began playing guitar in 1992, where he immediately became passionate about the instrument. At age 17, he recorded a professional quality recording with his high school band, Legacy. Through his teen years, he performed regularly at his church.
From 1998-2003, Seth studied music theory and recording arts at Mira Costa College, and played in countless local bands.
He won the San Marcos Guitar Center’s Guitarmageddon in 2003 and 2004.
In 2010, Seth played to 20,000+ people at the Loud Park Festival in Saitama, Japan with Holy Grail.
Seth has taught thousands of lessons since 2004, and also does guitar repairs and customization.
After receiving numerous requests for instrument lessons outside of his expertise, Seth created Mobile Music Teacher to bring high quality teachers to his clients. His school offers Piano, Drum, Voice, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, and more.
One of the many benefits of being involved with the school is the ability to put on student recitals. Seth can be seen playing along side his students in bi-annual Rock Recitals. He will literally take you from the beginning steps to the stage.
“My friendly personality, lame jokes, and abundant guitar knowledge ensure that my lessons are fun,
and that we will have an amazing time.
I want to help my students to get where they want to be,
and can adapt my teaching style to suit any level of player.
I let my students guide me to the songs they want to play, whether it’s a new Disney teen group or the latest heavy metal band. My methods are simple and proven.
If you've tried guitar lessons before and put the guitar down - I'm the teacher for you.”
